Lakewood Camerata
Our honors string orchestra consisting of mainly junior and senior musicians. The Lakewood Camerata consistently earns top ratings and superiors at district and state level adjudications. Lakewood Camerata members are expected to regularly perform at a variety of on and off campus events. Placement in this ensemble is by audition only.
Concert-Intermezzo Orchestra:
Our intermediate-advance ensemble, the Concert Orchestra is a large string orchestra primarily consisting of sophomore and junior musicians.
Symphonic Strings:
The LRHS Symphonic Strings is our Freshmen ensemble.
Chamber Players:
Students enrolled in Instrumental Techniques 1-4 are grouped into various small ensembles (trios, quartets, octets, etc.) and are expected to perform in a variety of chamber music recitals, public performances, district and state adjudications, and as solists.
